My partner and I spent a week at Humberto Guest house. Humberto and his family were wonderful and a big part of our amazing experience in Huaraz. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious. Humberto himself is a guide and is very helpful for planning and booking tours and treks. If you are looking for a quiet family feel while exploring the Hauraz area, this is the place to stay.

Located at a very doable 15-20 minute walk from the main square (plaza de armas), this unassuming looking guesthouse is an excellent place to stay during your walks and treks around Huaraz. Rooms are standard and clean. The hosting family is super friendly and helpfull, as they can arrange some good starting trips for you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be provided on request and are very tastefull, varied and good value for money. This can be your home away from home in Huaraz.
