Nice hotel, one of the best we found in the area - clean well appointed rooms, nice terrace for breakfast on the 5th floor. Service was great, helped me print bus tickets and were very friendly

We stayed at the Hotel Morales off and on between treks and climbs over 18 days. The place is wonderful-- brand new construction, very clean. The bed was great- actually great - with a down feather pillow! Our room had a balcony overlooking the city of Huaraz, where we hung out and watched the sunset and the stars. The food was wonderful- we had fresh orange juice, eggs and toast for breakfast. The Hotel prepared a special spaghetti dinner for us on short notice, and at the end of our visit they put on a huge Peruvian barbecue dinner. The hospitality and kindness might be the best I have ever had! The hotel owner actually accompanied us to the medical clinic when one member of the party got altitude sickness in the mountains. Several on the staff speak English well, which really helped when we needed it.

A great place to relax between mountain summits. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodations are better than I expected. I would highly recommend it.
